The season to be jolly has passed, and for many persons it will signify a return to selfishness. It can be argued that the pressures of life make many less than desirable characters, however, the bible verse, "love suffereth long" is the watch-word and song of a few.

During the Christmas season the Olga Mendez Basic School in downtown, Kingston, Jamaica was the recipient of "goodies" for its students, graciously donated by executives of the media group, YardFlex Inc. The institution is a base for early childhood education for children between the ages 3 to 5 ½.
The school, which is situated in the violence prone inner city community around Windward Road, hosts a Childs' Day and Christmas Treat each year, but the staging of these events would not have been possible without the kind year-to-year donations from YardFlex Publisher, Deborah Cole and Manager, Bridgette Anderson.

According to Vivienne Shaw, principal, "Debra and Bridgette are always so excited to assist us. The grills, the bathroom, the kitchen and the toilet fixtures were all financed by Miss Cole." She reaffirmed that for the last, six years, both ladies have never been missing in action when it concerns making donations towards the running of the school.
Miss Shaw revealed that plans are being made to officially install the YardFlex boss as a member of the school board, this in appreciation for her unwavering support.
