Original Dancehall Jam Jam delivered

JamJam2007Poster.jpgThe Jamalco Sports Club in Halse Hall, Clarendon came alive on New Years Eve with the staging of Cocoa Tea's Original Dancehall Jam Jam. The show brought out the massive and saw patrons enjoying some high quality performances too.

Sky Juice was in his element as the New Year rolled in. He did his antics on stage generating some fun vibes. Following Mr. Easy it was time for the original gangalee Louie Culture and he really was in his element as he did some of his favourites including "Pamela Lose Har Man."

Fanton Mojah did his thing and made way for Etana who brought a different vibes to the huge crowd that gathered. She gave a queenly performance before making way for Clarendonian Barrington Levy who was vintage at its best with his wide repertoire of hits.

The vintage vibes continued with Admiral Bailey who injected new energy into the crowd.

Spanner Banner slowed the pace down with his songs, however his performance was just as enjoyable.

It was another Bonner brother taking the stage and that was the man who has been blazing a trail across the streets of Africa – Richie Spice and worked a solid set reeling off hit after hits before making his exit.

Sasha, Macka Diamond represented well for the ladies then the father and son team of Tarrus and Jimmy Riley blazed the place with their hits.

Romain Virgo had the place in an uproar when he took the stage...what's it about this young man that makes even adult women go wild! And "Get It On" he did to their delight.

Turbulance, Mykal Rose, Junior Reid, Josey Wales all made good representations before making way for Jah Cure who gave a devastating performance. He had the crowd in a frenzy. Following Pressure it was time for Daville who enjoyed a big welcome from the crowd and as he reeled off his tough love songs the audience followed in a sing-a-long.

It was vintage at its best again when Marcia Griffiths took centrestage and it was even sweeter vibes when she called back Daville on stage to do their hit song "All My Life."

Warrior King, Perfect, Anthony Cruz did their thing making way for Gregory Isaacs who took the place by storm.

Capleton set the place afire and it was fever pitch when Ninja Man stepped on stage indulging in a friendly clash.

All in all Cocoa Tea's Original Dancehall Jam Jam delivered.
