Tyrone Taylor was laid to rest on Sunday

tyrone_taylor.jpgA glowing obituary was written in the UK's Guardian newspaper on the life of Jamaican singer Tyrone Taylor whose ‘Cottage in Negril' became a classic.

But since the news broke of his death little has been said about plans surrounding the late singer's funeral. One disc jock based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, kept in constant touch with YardFlex regarding funeral arrangements.

Tyrone Taylor died at age 56 from complications stemming from Prostrate Cancer on December 1. strong>YardFlex would welcome any information regarding funeral arrangement for the late singer...we like to keep our readers informed.

YardFlex would like to big up Samantha for responding to the story posted on the site regarding the late reggae crooner Tyrone Taylor. Apparently he was buried on Sunday...but we are sticking to our point...this low keyed arrangement is totally unacceptable for a man of his calibre.

Checks with other media entities revealed that there was no notice given of these arrangements. YardFlex wishes his family all the best and may Tyrone's soul rest in peace.

It sad to hear about Tyrone's death, I remember that song "From my little cottage in Negril I decide I love you still", it was good clean lyrics that I always enjoy. I want to extend my condolence to his family and to encourage them to trust in God, He will see them through. One love.

This is the best reggae singer to come out of Jamaica. Awesome voice.
May the Lord bless his family through this tough time and thanks Tyrone for the good songs/music you have provided us over the years.

Lets get something positive out of the man's death by telling your fathers, uncles, or any other man over the age of 50 that you care about to get their PROSTATE (no 2nd "r") screening ASAP!

I was in Africa when "cottage in Negril" hit the waves in 1983. I thought then, and still believes, it's the greatest song to have come out of Jamaica. It's an Absolute Classic - I play it everyday on my MP3! So sad to have lost such a talented singer like Tyrone Taylor. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Everything said by Rashard is a lie, and first thing first you were not even present at the funeral it was a poor turn out and Beres Hammond was not there.

The only person there was Terry linen and he did not even took his lazy ass up on the podium and did a tribute, he came looking all raggid and dirty like he did not car (tyrone helped this guy to be where he is presently). The only person who sang was his daughter.

None of his kids have any Info on the guys royalties,
him just dead and dem bury him like any other person.

They did not bury him in his dread locks I have all the pictures of the funeral so if you guys want proof email me at jahfetmoore@gmail.com
