choicefm_djs.jpgYardFlex retracts statements published in a posting made on November 26, 2007, in the story headed, "Choice FM gets rid of the people's favourite DJs."

Contrary to the report received by YardFlex confirming Angie Le Mar's and Daddy Ernie's contract termination with Choice FM, YardFlex has been informed by Managing Director for Choice FM Ivor Etienne that this information needs to be corrected.

Etienne told Yardflex in a written statement that Angie Le Mar is leaving Choice FM at the end of this year. A November 16 press release further expressed that her final show at Choice FM is scheduled for December 15, 2007 and she chose to leave after 3 successful and harmonious years with the station, to pursue other projects.

"It's sad, but we respect Angie's wishes and wish her all the best in her future projects," Etienne stated.

Daddy Ernie, also named as one being ousted in the same article is being secured with a new contract to stay at Choice FM, Etienne told YardFlex.

YardFlex regrets any distress caused to both Angie Le Mar and Daddy Ernie. We also apologise to the excellent staff at Choice FM and congratulate them for hosting the only UK reggae chart show on commercial radio.

Live Linq is a new DJ who will be starting fresh at Choice FM in the new year and veterans Gammo Speng and Natty B will also continue blasting the UK with the best.

YardFlex will bring you a full feature on the great work being done at Choice FM soon.

I would like to know why they stopped the link up show. The only unique show choice had..

Can Mr. Ettiene also tell us why he cut Gammo Spengs' show time from 00:00 to 03:00 to 02:00 0:300 saturday morning

    One hour for the week!!!

In the old days thay would call that a grave yard shift for new DJs with potential Not a Vetron who made choice known world wide for their reggae.

As they cut the link they cant say it's to line up with U.S or Jamaican time. ..They say he is a vetron (which he is). Then why disrespect him like that. Yes it is clear to see I am a fan of Gammo as I have been listening to him for years. Before he was on choice and I noticed how the Reggae choice Dj's followed his playing style infact many other djs too.

Im sure it was an innocent mistake Yard flex made the other day re the Angie and Earni. But there are still valid poins to be addressed.

The Good Lord works in mysterious ways and I for one want to put a fire on choice for not supporting UK reggae as they should.

Put on Some good stage shows man

cho me cant bother talk yar man...
