Lucky Dube to be honoured

Lucky_Dube.jpgLucky Dube, the late African reggae icon will be one of six South African (SA) musicians who were honoured on December 2 at the Tribute to SA Music Heroes Concert at Moretele Park, Tshwane.

Dube, who was killed last month in a botched hijacking, was honoured alongside Busi Mhlongo, Don Laka, Vusi Mahlasela, the late Jabu Khanyile and Queeneth Ndaba.

The concert, which was the brainchild of Sam Mhangwani and Leonard Sithole of Drakensberg Promotions, also saw top talent on the local music scene performing to a capacity crowd.

The Tribute to SA Heroes Concert celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
