I watched the AMA's .Nice job to all you guys you made 'ALL TRUE JAMAICAN'S PROUD" Alicia Keys big up you self my dear.You are half Jamaican,Father from St Andrews Jamaica and mother who's Irish Italian as you have stated in your LA 'E' interview.
There is a saying that goes : "Who god bless no man curse". And there is another saying that goes:"The man that hit and run today will live to fight another day: Beenie Man i really like the way you have keep you head straight with out lending a ear to dis-tractors.Or envy wisher and broke pocket losers. That have been using yard flex chat room and other websites to do character assassination on you. I will be watching you on Sunday at the AMA"S , which is one of Americas most prestigious music award shows.Just the fact that you have been invited means your career is still 100% intact. I will also be asking god to guide and protect you while you'll be making all true Jamaicans proud.Walking the red carpet with Barbee among some of the biggest name in the music business.I have also checked the names of attendees and i have also called the hot line to inquire why Bounty Killa and D"angel wasn't added to the list of heavy hitters.I was told by Grace, Bounty and D'angel are not considered worthy.They are more UNDERGROUND OR UNKNOWN. This AMA SHOW is considered an "A' Lister's artist affair. For artist that have been selling millions according to Sound scan. And artist who have been burning up the charts "I don't mean the local Jamaican charts" I mean the Hot 100, Hot 200 and the Billboard charts... WOW!!! WOW!!!!!

This is a good performance, Alicia Keys is more real than many Jamaicans who hate Jamaican and put it under the carpet. She could have say to hell with my father's root as he wasn't there to mine her, but she didn't and in this doing she is expressing her love and appreciation for jamaican culture, not so can be said for many born and grown jamaicans i meet in America who will not donate a pencil to thier old basic school but have alot of bad to say about jamaica and our culture. Big up all Jamaicans who love Jamaican and spread our great culture abroad, maybe some Jamaicans in the USA should start being a little more patriotic and stop selling out them soul. Alicia Keys nuff nuff nuff nuff respect for showing Dancehall and Reggae so much love on such a far reaching platform. This is not a moment to hate but rather to be proud as a Jamaican/Carribean. This was a marvelous display of uniting cultures and musical genre's and the outcome was nothing short of spectacular. Alicia will always be my most favorite R & B female artist.. This is a very proud moment in deed. Big up to all the artist for a job well done!! Beenie you are the King so just wear your crown seen !!!
@ Nadine I was @ the AMA event. I paid 1,275$ to get a ticket in advanve to sit with all the regular Joe's. And i can tell you when Beenie Man came out they have the Radars inside above the stage and above the seating areas and it was up to the max.Every one's jaw dropped.The screams were as loud as Reggae Sun splash ,Sting or what ever. people also wanted to also get a chance to hear every word Beenie was saying.It was only out side and at press time i knew it was zim zimma he did. The sounds of BLAM, BLAM and gwan my DJ plus bumping and grinding was just too much i had a blast. Being at the show and watching it on TV is two totally different things..They all made me proud.And as Raskal said all the way up a top, Alicia Keys is also half Jamaican. Her Father is from St Andrews Ja.

The highlight of the VMA'S was Alicia Keys and Junior Reed, Shaka Demus & Pliers, And of course the king of Dancehall Beenie. The audience was going crazy screaming. It's about time that most of American Get to see the music Form that helped create Hip Hop & more. I bought Alicia CD and it's a great cd. I think no matter what when you have Jamaican heritage, you will always do things that are very jamaican without evening knowing it. There's alot of singers, rappers, & actors with Jamaican heritage in America.Just because they might not say it in every paper or t.v. station doesn't mean they don't love Jamaica. We all have to do our part to REPRESENT JA. Lata!!!!!
