Macka Diamond has a full schedule for the rest of the year. Between her book tour, voicing singles and shooting music videos and running her recently started company her calendar is full for the rest of the year.

With the release of "Bun Him", Macka Diamond's critically acclaimed debut novel, she has been on the road, locally, regionally and internationally, making promotional appearances and signings. "I can't get anything done around here! Reading the book and loving it! It's a great story and very very, very believable!" exclaimed Lady Cham from Virginia Radio.

Macka is not however, neglecting her die-hard Dancehall fans, so she has recorded new tunes to keep the party going, including "Laptop", produced by Damion Morsby on the Laptop riddim for the D'Ice label. However, in December, she will be shooting a new music video for another single, 'Dandy Shandy', under the direction of the very esteemed, Jay Will.

Macka Diamond has indeed expanded her repertoire and now it also includes the title of "businesswoman" as she recently launched her own company called "Diamond District Ja.", which she'll now be operating under. Already in the pipeline, the company is planning a Christmas treat for blind children who are housed at various Children's Homes across Jamaica . Macka will try to make as much appearances as her schedule will allow during this festive season.

Following that, the company will be focusing on Macka Diamond's Birthday Bash, which will be a three night celebration, starting on Friday, January 25. It will kick off in fine-style by means of "Bingo With The Stars", at the Ranny William's Entertainment Centre. Saturday, January 26, will be the main show, featuring Macka Diamond and friends, Venue TBA, and on Sunday, January 27, we will wind things down with the hosting of an all- white pool side party, set tentatively for the Morgans' Harbour Hotel.

why do we caribbean people have to be so critical of our fellow C'bean people. We are like crabs in a barrel trying to pull down anyone that is trying to do good for themselves, Rebecca i assume that if Macka didn't write the book then u did? Gurl stop hating and be appreciative. It's people like you that inspire people to do their thing after all what would the world be like without haters to push u onwards.

First of all I will like to congratulate Macka Diamond on her novel. Ladies and gentlemen or should I say haters, we should be proud and happy to see a Blackwoman doing something as such. It inspires the young that they can be successful in life no matter the stero-types, your colour, background and even gender. Well Done
