Dancehall anthem “DOH!” – out in video soon
Musical maestro Serani continued his rising journey as a solo artiste recently as he completed the shooting of his club banger video, "DOH!" featuring Bugle. Shot on several locations in Kingston and St Andrew, with Julia Braham behind the lens, the video is expected to hit television screens within just days, a release said.
"DOH!" is described in the release, as a video/song that takes a shot at all the haters who don't like seeing youths rise; a common issue facing young artists in Jamaica. Produced by hit-making trio DASECA ( two members of whom make cameo appearances in the video), "DOH!" has become an anthem at Kingston's Dancehall parties.
In discussing his current success Serani said, "Right now we are just putting in the work and finding tracks and songs that connect with the people. So far the response has been good to my music and I give thanks for that. My management and I have worked out a long term plan of where we want to take this, so we are just working towards achieving our goals." Serani added he is planning to put out singles initially, whilst selecting certain juggling riddims to feature on as well.
