Dwayne Murphy reaches Gospel Charts

murphy1.JPG"The Greatest Love of All" is for many folks, just a love song, however, for Dwayne Murphy it was the subject of his first live performance age of six. Years have passed and his love for singing grew along with his religious desires. His birth-name is Dwayne Dolton Murphy, and he grew in Papine, St. Andrew, Jamaica. The Gospel sensation has been touring the church circuit ministering to people and touching people lives with his ministry.

Murphy delivers various genres of music ranging from Hip Hop & R&B to Reggae and Dancehall. He is currently the lead singer on his church choir and also a praise and worship leader. In 2003, Dwayne joined forces with rapper "D.A.Jay" and subsequently Dizzle Lab Productions. Murphy has performed at major shows like Genesis 2006, Fun in the Son, Rise 2 Christ, and various gospel concerts and he also has ministered at Gospel Clubs such as Prayz House & Club Christendom.

At present he is featured on the mainframe riddim in a hit collaboration track with his label mate "Craig C" in the song "You", and also a solo effort entitled "Be Saved". Murphy is also featured on the Roots Gospel Volume 3 compilation released by KatsJam Records, with two tracks," Father all we need is Love" (Produced by Dr. Dizzle) and Bye Bye, which is on the Spiritual War Rhythm. He was recently featured on the Spirit scription album. He is currently working on making his debut album, which will be released this year.
