Kirk Franklin Please Audience in Muddy Condition

By Alan Lewin
KIRK FRANKLYN.jpgNot even the passage of hurricane Dean could cause Sold Out Ministries and their organizers to postpone the inaugural staging of the three day gospel festival entitled Youth Aid 2007 held at Dump Up Beach in Montegto Bay August 22-24. The event which was held under muddy conditions for the first two days on the first night saw good performances from Paul Blake (Director Of Sold Out Ministries), Sherwin Gardener from Trinidad, Todd Curry from the USA and Jason Mighty.

The second night saw marvelous performances from Goddy Goddy, DJ Nicholas and International and Grammy winning performer Kirk Franklin Who really pleased the audience.

The final night saw the likes of Judy Mowatt and Pappa San who closed the show with a splendid performance
According to Rev. Paul Blake, Director of Sold Out Ministries, the festival is targeting the 12 - 30 age group and will be an annual event. Among some of the features of the festival were career counseling, training opportunities, education in drug abuse and rehabilitation ,abstinences, and much more.
