After Hurricane Dean

digging out car-1.jpg
By 6:00am on Monday morning neighborhoods came alive again, with people assessing damages, bailing out water, cleaning up and clearing the streets in front of their homes. Many have to face the unfortunate future with new roofing costs, not to mention the constant state of current discomfort without running water or electricity in many areas still by Tuesday.

Solidarity in its best form is what the aftermath of this hurricane has brought to Jamaican communities. Each one is now being encouraged to lend a helping hand to others in need following the storm.

Thank God its over and we didn't have much casualties. I know this restoration period is hardest for many of us [including myself], but we just have to remember to give God thanks because he has spared our lives and we're still a bit more fortunate than someone else out there. Hands and hearts together, we'll make it.

yardflex why don't you stay consistent with your frocking stories. How come uno only have a few lines like seh uno never was in the hurricane. Maybe yardflex is a forien flex or something. Why no news if people dead or casualties or even better pictures showing the after math and only where uno live. this site has lost it ratings to ra**

The comments about "is this the best yardflex can do" are so true.....i was expecting to see a proper report....i personally heard that too lives have been taken....1 of a 14 year old girl and the other of a 40+ man.....i alos heard that they were sum casualties from "looting"...i.e police shot sum ppl dem ketch a loot....again i dont kno how true these information are...cuz i'm in london....enuff of that tho...

I sincerely hope everyone in Jamaica will get thru this devastation.... May GOD continue to bless our beautiful island of Jamaica...

First I like to give the proper thanks to god that the lives were spared, and I feel that this topic should have been touched upon a little more than it was so that the people that are not there can see the island and what it did to the homes, and the wonderful land that harvest.
