CE'CILE SATISFIES EUROPE
Ce'Cile is busy touring Europe and her music continues to make waves in Jamaica. Debuing at number 29 on the Richie B singles chart last week, her song "I'm Waiting," on the Danger Zone Label, is presently in a video medley, with the entire song set to be premiered with its own video this week.
According to reports the song is doing very well in England and has received warm reviews in the United States especially in South Florida.
In Japan, Ce'Cile's single, "Goody" on the Avex label, went number one on the Tempo Cross Caribbean Countdown for a whopping seven weeks. It was displaced by Rihanna's "Umbrella" and bounced to number 2 spot last week.
On tour for the past week, Ce'Cile performed to a packed audience on August 5 th at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach Florida. She stringed out songs such as her new hit "Goody" and the new chart favourite "I'm Waiting," to the audience's satisfaction.
Spoken of widely as a great performer, Ce'Cile is now in Europe performing to enthusiastic crowds such as her August 8 appearance in Leece, Italy.
Rocking the Reggae Jam Festival at Bersenbrueck, Germany on August 11, Ce'Cile was highly commended by the Germans on her stage presence and her overall performance. The 13 th saw Ce'Cile at the MTV Party in Portimao, Portugal and on August 17 th Kaserne, Zurich Switzerland. Ce'Cile then wraps up the European leg of her tour in Germany at the World of Reggae concert in Cologne on August 18th.
With the tour of Europe in full swing Ce'Cile is looking forward to the launch of her "Bad Gyal" album in Japan on the Japanese label outfit "Avex". Her first appearance is at the Studio Coast Agea in Tokyo on September 7 th and then on the on the 8th at the Reggae X-Plosion show being staged at the Mori-Koro Park in Nagoya. Ce'Cile then ends her Japanese visit with an appearance at Club Air on September 9 th in Tsutu, Fukuako.
