No bail for Danny English - Was ordered fingureprinted and sent for blood tests
Danny English, born Donald Cox, lucked out in the Half-Way-Tree Court on recently as Judge Judith Pusey denied his request for bail on carnal abuse and indecent assault charges. He was remanded into custody until a preliminary inquiry on July 16.
The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse (CISOCA), brought these charges against the dancehall artiste following allegations that he has been sexually active with a 15 year old.
Facing 15 counts of carnal abuse and one count of indecent assault, the 36 year old is alleged to have been having sex with this young girl since she was 12 years old.
According to reports Cox's attorney, Wentworth Charles, pleaded for bail, but the magistrate felt his client had too many charges. Judge Pusey ordered blood tests and fingerprints, saying she preferred to revisit the matter of bail once the evidence is in.
