Riddim Driven Clothing Welcomed A Full House at The Grand Opening of their Manhattan Showroom

Riddim Driven Clothing, the Caribbean fashion line connected with VP Records, launched their first showroom located on W. 35 St. in the Fashion District of Manhattan, recently. The after work event displayed their Spring/Summer 2007 line and was accompanied with a live drum session
A live artwork installation created by the Caribbean-inspired Japanese artist Dragon, was showcased at the launch and a Riddim Driven raffle also became a fast hit amongst attendees.

Artists, press, well-wishers and family were among the many who attended the special gathering to recognize Riddim Driven Clothing - the natural progression from a T-Shirt faze to full blown clothing line.
In 2001, Co-Founder of VP Records, Ms. Patricia Chin, began to sell artist driven t-shirts inside her local retail stores. As the demand grew in 2004, Riddim Driven decided to diversify into a more designer driven, cut and sew line. The clothing brand unfolds the story of reggae music and culture through its artistic imagery and style.
Their mission is to continue the successful innovation of high-quality products which stay true to the roots and culture of reggae music. Riddim Driven Clothing strives to offer a fresh diverse collection of inspirational clothing by mixing the streets of Jamaica and island culture with an uplifting spirit of reggae music. Distributed throughout the U.S. Japan, Jamaica, Europe and Canada the clothing line is available in Virgin Megastores, Up Against The Wall, and a variety of specialty boutiques.

iam feeling the clothing line but the t shirts r too expensive if u ask me, y is a t shirt 60 ? a black people a support it so it can be a little cheaper if u ask me, but i like them a lot so lower the price, if u walk in a vp to buy a cd its all 15 to 20 depending on the cd r the artist, then to buy a shirt for 60 dollars, by time u r done shopping u spend all 100 dollars on a t shirt and a cd, sell them for 40 r somewhere around that price so poor people can afford them. i mean come on they r not that expensive to make and i know that for a fact.
