Kalonji Inc. presents an annual event, The Occasion III, which will be held at the Eastern Peace Center on Saturday, May 19, 2007. In honour of all the mothers, his traditional Thank U Mama Celebrations were held on May 12 at Judgment Yard.
"The Occasion III is an annual celebration of the year's accomplishments, normally held in April during my earthstrong celebrations. This year promises to be as exciting and full of surprises as the previous," explained Kalonji. The Eastern Peace Center, located on 121 Windward Road, is this year's choice of venue to bring more attention and support for that particular community.
Many artists are slated to perform, some of your favourite radio disc jockeys will be hosting the event, and the greatest sound systems in Jamaica will provide music. This includes Irie Fm's Elise Kelly, G.T. Taylor, and DJ Sunshine as host.

Artists like Sizzla Kalonji, Bounty Killer, Anthony B, Lady Saw, Elephant Man, Ninja man, Movado, Coco Tea, Spragga Benz, Lady G, Lutan Fyah, Junior Reid, Gyptian, Junie Platinum, Determine, Assasin, Thriller U, Sanchez, Natural Blacks, Erup and many other specially invited guests. Stone Love, Rebel T, Fresh International, Cave Man, and King Tafari will be playing the latest and the best in music.
"Thank U Mama was an event for the whole family, showing appreciation, love, and dedication for the contributions that mothers make all over the world," beams Sizzla. It was interesting to hear that the song Thank U Mama is the most played mother song in the world and ranking second was Tupac's Dear Mama.
As Kalonji Records prepares for these various events, the work continues effortlessly to build constant projects and opportunities for the community.

Sizzla, Thanks for this. Doing something positive for the communities. As most mothers fill in the role of fathers as well, I am sure it will be appreciated.
