The Annual Ocean Spray Wellfest was held on April 21 and 22, 2007 at the beautiful Hope Gardens, St. Andrew. On the first day nonstop rain welcomed, but did not dampen the proceedings that continued despite the weather. Nothing could stop patrons from supporting the event.

Businesses, organizations, medical associates, and individuals focused on ways to be healthy - live a healthy lifestyle and eat healthily. Hundreds of creative booths hosted their products and services, the majority of them made in Jamaica.

One section of the festival was dedicated to different forms of personal pampering. Highlights included a showcase of the various holistic and traditional methods of healing such as free massages, reiki and reflexology, as well as natural healing through herbs, vitamins, and teas.

A number of Medical personnel were available to check blood pressure, give advice on dealing with medical conditions and offer general support to those with medical problems. This seemed to be very beneficial for especially the elderly who were present.

All types of food and drinks were available, with many manufacturers providing samples of their goods. There were games and tons of fun for the children with many returning home carrying gifts they had won based on their knowledge of healthy living.

The stage show proved to be a favorite, because regardless of the rain, people enjoyed themselves, singing along to their artist. Etana delivered conscious messages through her sultry sound. Taurus Riley swayed the people with his soothing voice. Chalice captured the crowd after twenty years of separation and Judy Mowatt commanded the audience through her delivery and spirituality.
