Super Model Naomi Campbell pleads guilty to assault
The model Naomi Campbell has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour charge of reckless assault after she threw a mobile phone that hit her housemaid.

Following a plea bargain with prosecutors at Manhattan Criminal Court, the British model was sentenced to five days of community service and ordered to attend a two-day anger management course. She was also directed to pay medical bills of £180 for her injured housekeeper, Ana Scolavino.
In court, Campbell admitted throwing the phone in her apartment but said she did not intend it to hit Ms Scolavino who needed four stitches after the incident.
Police arrested Campbell at her home in Park Avenue, Manhatten, following the assault in April last year. She was fingerprinted and photographed at a nearby police station.
At the time the star's agent, Amanda Silverman, claimed the arrest was retaliation for the model sacking Ana Scolavino.
Today, however, the 35-year-old model - known for her fiery temper - apologised to her former housemaid. "I am advised that Ana was hurt, and I am deeply sorry about that," she said.
