LUDACRIS TOPS TIMBERLAKE ON HOT 100

news_ludacris.jpgLudacris' "Money Maker" (featuring Pharrell) tops the Billboard Hot 100 for the second consecutive week after knocking Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" last week. Ludacris' run at the top of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart ends after Chris Brown's "Say Goodbye" took the top spot on that chart.

Akon's "Smack That" (featuring Eminem) jumps No. 4 to No. 2 and is the chart's greatest sales gainer. The track also tops the Hot Digital Songs chart, knocking Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" from the top spot.

Hinder's track holds the No. 3 spot on the Hot 100 and jumps to No. 1 on the Pop 100, knocking out "SexyBack," which drops to No. 4 on the Hot 100. Rounding out the top five is another track from Timberlake, "My Love," which jumps from No. 8 to No. 5, making it the chart's greatest airplay gainer.

Elsewhere on the chart, Diddy's "Tell Me" (featuring Christina Aguilera) is the week's top debut at No. 62; Dierks Bentley's "Every Mile A Memory" jumps from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart; and Disturbed's cover of Genesis' "Land of Confusion" tops the Mainstream Rock chart.

Ludacris is one of the few artist in hip hop left that I can listen to. He's style and flow is unique. He deserves to hold the title.
