Manhattans and Dorothy More for Jamaica

manhattansbackstage2.jpgAre you ready for this! It will be a lot of soulful vibes on the weekend of November 24 - 26 when Princess Promotion present The Original Manhattans featuring Dorothy Moore.

It will be a lovers treat and then some as the package will see George Nooks, Dobby Dobson, Jimmy Reid, One Third, Nickeisha Barnes (Digicel Rising Star, first and second place winners) and upcoming
artiste Lt. Brookie on the performance calendar too.

On Friday, November 24 the group will be making its first stop at Disco Inferno, the next day will see them heading to Fayor's Entertainment Centre, Mandeville then on Sunday, November 26 will be the finale performance at National Indoor Sports Arena in
Kingston and this will be missing One Third and
Nickeisha.

Jamaicans need no introduction especially when it comes on to the Manhattans as the group have been drawing lovers closer with hits such as 'Honey Honey', 'Shining Star', 'Hurt', 'Kiss and Say Goodbye' and 'There's No Me Without You'. The best thing of all is that there will be no 'watered down' offering where this group is concerned but all originals featuring Gerald Alston, Blue Lovette, Troy May and Ron Tyson.

Support artiste Dorothy Moore will be thrilling fans with her multiple platinum single 'Misty Blue' one of the two huge hits she had in 1976 for Malaco and 'Funny How Time Slips Away'. Moore continued on Malaco through the '80s, landing one more Top Ten R&B hit in 1977 with 'I Believe You'. Among some of her other hits are 'Love Me' and 'For Old Time's Sake'.

MCs for the shows will be Delroy Sterling, Dermot Williams from Canada and Richie B from Hot 102.
