Internationally known music producer Tony Kelly has teamed up with local producer Danny Champagnie to release a new project, the rhythm called VIP. Eleven artistes have already recorded on the rhythm.

"The album was launched last week Tuesday October 3rd at the Asylum nightclub, and the premiere was recorded by well-known director Nordia Rose for promotional purposes," Kelly told YardFlex.com reporter CJ while they hung out backstage at the ICM Fest show.

Kelly produced Sean Paul's monster hit, "Like Glue" for which he picked up a BMI Award. He also served as the co-executive producer for the 2004 Grammy nominated Def Jamaica compilation which included tracks from Scarface, Ghostface Killah, Joe Budden and Capone & Nore. Danny Champagnie produced the 2004 number one hit 'Weh Di Time' by Delly Ranks, Voise Mail and Bogle

Some of the artistes who appear on the VIP project are Assassin, Shaggy, Spragga Benz, Voicemail, Mr. Easy, Delicious, Italist, and Chico.

Danny Champagne has always been a creative producer consistently releasing riddims that stand out AND never fail to make you move from the FIRST listen.

We all know about his HITS but he also released a wicked reggaeton flavored riddim "LA BOUNCE" that had some wicked tunes but radio & selectors never played it as much as it deserved.

There won't be a problem with this VIP riddim busting out. The artist line up is full of big names but its the Riddim track itself that is the real story here.

Samplin the bass line notes that begins the definitive 'dancehall' cut of the Answer riddim recorded by Peter Chemist back in 84, this riddim takes it further.

Tonly Kelly actually creats a NEW bassline without making you forget the original roots. The Drum pattern is a bouncy yet hardcore one which works well for tunes with party lyrics as well as bad boy style ones. If you like TRAFFIC JAM by Steven Marley & Jr. Gong you're sure to enjoy this one.

If an artist can't grab hold of this riddim and give you a good tune, someting wrong with him/her.

One of the highlights of 2006 for sure.

    Big up to all involved.

    Support this one massive.
