
Internationally known music producer Tony Kelly has teamed up with local producer Danny Champagnie to release a new project, the rhythm called VIP. Eleven artistes have already recorded on the rhythm.
"The album was launched last week Tuesday October 3rd at the Asylum nightclub, and the premiere was recorded by well-known director Nordia Rose for promotional purposes," Kelly told YardFlex.com reporter CJ while they hung out backstage at the ICM Fest show.
Kelly produced Sean Paul's monster hit, "Like Glue" for which he picked up a BMI Award. He also served as the co-executive producer for the 2004 Grammy nominated Def Jamaica compilation which included tracks from Scarface, Ghostface Killah, Joe Budden and Capone & Nore. Danny Champagnie produced the 2004 number one hit 'Weh Di Time' by Delly Ranks, Voise Mail and Bogle
Some of the artistes who appear on the VIP project are Assassin, Shaggy, Spragga Benz, Voicemail, Mr. Easy, Delicious, Italist, and Chico.
