nadine_sutherland_Reggae_singer.jpgThe 2006 South Florida Family Reggae Festival, set for Sunday, November 5 has announced its artist line-up and new park venue. The Festival has also been moved to the beautiful Legion Memorial Park at NE 64th Street at NE 7th Ave in Miami, FL and is FREE for all attendees. Park gates open from 10am to 7pm.

The order of the day is to celebrate reggae and Caribbean culture as a part of the fabric of South Florida while also showcasing up and coming talent in the South Florida Reggae Showcase. This year the showcase will be sponsored by C.E.D. Entertainment. C.E.D.

Entertainment has just added reggae music to their roster and hopes to use the showcase to screen future acts. The Reggae Riddim Section supports Family Reggae Festival, Inc.'s goal of encouraging fine arts education for youth and will feature dancing and musical performances by some of South Florida's most talented kids. Performers interested in participating in the showcase and/or the Reggae Riddim Section should contact Family Reggae Festival, Inc. or visit the official website.

This event is produced by Family Reggae Festival, Inc., City of Miami's Office of FACE (Film, Arts, Culture, and Entertainment), and Jamaica Awareness Inc. in association with various sponsors.
