Baby Cham is number one on BET
Baby Cham's 'Ghetto Story Part 2' video featuring Alicia Keyes is the number one video on BET this week, racking up 20 spins, and earning pole position on the station, and in the process pipping out popular videos such as Birdman and L'il Wayne's 'Stunting Like My Daddy' and Cassie's 'Me and You' for the top spot.
Baby Cham is scheduled to appear on the taping of BET's 'The Center' and 'Rap City' next week. He will also be opening for select dates on Kelis' tour in the United States between September and October along the West Coast. Next week, he will appear on two radio shows, and from there, he heads to Japan to do a promotional tour. In the meantime, He is still a part of the Discover and Download programme on MTV networks.
Cham's album was released in August of this year to rave reviews from music critics. The 'Ghetto Story' song was the lead-off hitter on his album. There is also a Ghetto Story Part 3' featuring Akon. Other songs include hi pro collabos with US heavy hitters such as 'Boom Boom' with Rihanna, 'Bad Boys' with Thea, and 'Bring it On' with Magic.
The second single off the album for his dancehall fan base will be 'Rude Boy Pledge', a hard hitting song that decries people who 'get rich and switch' from their roots. Known for such seminal dancehall hits as 'Joyride', 'Many Many', 'Que Serra' and 'Gallang Yah Gal', Baby Cham graduated to star status in Jamaica after a smash hit, 'Another Level' with former friend/deejay Bounty Killer.

It look like a fe him year ya nuh. The song is really good, I only dispise the part in the song that says we squeeze 7 an de whole a dem a duck now. Only because it in a way is instigating violence/ gunmanship. I like him though.
