Dancehall Artiste Assassin Receives Scholarship
 Popular Reggae/Dancehall recording artiste Jeffery 'Assasin' Campbell has been awarded a full academic scholarship, tenable at the prestigious University of Sunderland (UK) where he will be pursuing a three year, Bachelors degree in Business Management via the distance learning mode.
The scholarship is being presented by world leader in distance education, Resource Development International (RDI) Jamaica. Assassin, who enjoys tremendous acclaim both locally and internationally, will join over 300 Jamaican students who are currently pursuing similar UK qualifications facilitated by RDI Jamaica.

i am happy for assassin and i realy hope he persue with this.This is a very good move beeing that he is an rolemodle to so many young people i hope they will take this as example and follow it and not only negetive things.

Hello Assassin, first of all as a Saint Lucian National, I wish to congratulate you on your many achievements in pursuing a degree in Business Management, it becomes very handy when it comes to the music industry, so you have made a wise decision and choice. Congratulations Assasin, excellent decision , when the rhymes and the fame fade your credentials will never loose their luster. I love to see my fellow Jamaicans in all walks of life reach for their highest potential. There always seem to be negativity associated with our beautiful country and fellow countrymen so when we see those of us doing their best and constantly challenging themselves and raising the bar we much not only encourage that individual but use that as motivation to reach our goals as well. This is a prime example of leading by example. Can't sing you enough praise but job well done and keep focus and remember if you believe you will achieve!

Hey Jeffrey, thats really really nice so not only are you musically and lyrically inclined but its so good to know that you'll also have your own business degree and thats so good because it simply means that if you so decide to leave the music business (which is unlikely) you can pursue something else and it wouldn't be a problem.
