Not to over-shadow dis sad situation, but it is a real SAD SITUATION, when Ms. Lou and her Husband can be treated to a spot in Heroes Park, (not that she does not deserve it, she does) and until now, BOB MARLEY NUH GET DAT YET. Look how long him DEAD. seriously, both persons have made significant social developments to our country, and if you should weigh in, it could be easily argued that Bob did more, Please show the man the respect he deserve. I live in Germany and when I say I come from Jamaica, the people say oh "Bob Marley Country" and they treat me so good. Tell them that I come from LOUISE BENNETT-COVERLEY COUNTRY, and the Nazis probably attack me.

Might i agree that Bob should be place there as well, for I have traveled all the way to China, Up in a Mountian region, stop off in a cafe, and there on the wall was a painting of Bob, because of my skin and dreadlocks the owner came up to me and asked if I was a Jamaican, he was so happy to met a Jamaican so far from home, however, Miss Lou have done more for our spoken dialect than any jamaican put together, when they use to beat me in school because i spoke patois it was Miss Lou poems that kept me going, in fact it was the writings of Miss Lou that also inspired Bob. Also another Jamaican they should consider is J. A Rogers, for without his diligent we as full black people would still be working as slave without any knowledge of who we are,
His book "Your History" was the key for new europeans to come to terms that Humans all came from out of the "Mother Land" "Africa"/ "Ta Merry".... it was his words that spawn the Harlem Renaissance. GODDESS BLESS. ANKH SOCIETY
