Richie Spice Nominated In Reggae Soca Awards Gala
 Richie Spice has been nominated in the reggae male vocalist category at the 13th annual Reggae Soca Music Awards which will be held on May 27th.
"Right now, I am grateful for the nomination, it is just an energy, and mi give thanks for the support of the people who support me and reggae music," he said.
The show will be a black tie affair at the Broward Centre for the Performing Arts, 201 SW Fifth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, and will begin at 8 p.m. Richie Spice's single, 'Youths So Cold' peaked at #59 on the Billboard Top 100 singles chart last year. Spice's latest singles, 'Brown Skin' and 'Open the Door' on the Bobby Konders Massive B label, have been getting rave critical reviews and are expected to drive the sales of his upcoming album, 'In the Streets to Africa'.
"Right now, we are negotiating with a major US label to lock up distribution for the album overseas but we don't wish to disclose who at this time," Devon Wheatley, head of Fifth Element Records, said.

Richie Spice represents good music. He is the positive side of reggae music. He is uplifting, spiritual, and humble. I wish him all the best in his career, and I hope he brings home the award. He has my vote.

richie Spice is the most inspirational person in todays time. His lessons are received daily I hope one day to meet him personally and congratulate him on a job well done. He is by far my favorite conscious artiste. My favorite songs are 'the way we livin','earth are run red','day by day'and i can keep,going. Congratulation on your nomination and good luck in your success.

Richie spice has so far uplifted my love for raggae. He has a plit of fantastic lyrics hitting onto the positive minds of those that love raggae music and those that are pulled my him are un-countable. So Richie Spice congradulation on your normination and do well.

i love this man so much.richie spice gets me through the days.i feel so good when i hear him and see him perform.i've been blessed to see him perform twice.and i met him even though he may not remember.i cherish that memory.anytime he comes to trinidad again i will see him once jah give life.i ask jah to continue to bless him and keep him strong in the faith.only emmanuel i selassie i jah rastafari.more love more life selah.

I love this man style so much. He is on my cell's wallpaper, my computer, my house, my office, everywhere he can fit.I play his music everyday because it enlightens me daily. Cant wait to see him in Trinidad! Bless up Richie!!!!Respect all the time
