DJ Macka Diamond is in high spirits after walking away with the Female DJ/Rapper of the Year Award at International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held last Saturday at the world famous Apollo Theatre, New York.

Macka Diamond edged out other nominees Lady Saw, Ce'Cile, Tanya Stephens and Fiona.

It was pandemonium when Macka Diamond took centre stage to perform her hit single 'Bun Him'. She didn't even need Black-er's input as the audience did his part quite convincingly. 'Bun Him' is still very dominant on the New York Charts for the fifth week now.

Her debut album, 'Money O' produced by Greensleeves was released last month and already it's enjoying great vibes. Among the hit singles on the album are 'Bun Him', Lexus and Benz' and 'Done Already'.
