Kilimanjaro Music Awards in Tanzania
Named after the highest mountain in Africa and one of the the many tourist attractions in Tanzania, the Kilimanjaro music awards organizers put up a list of all the artists nominated for this year's event.There are twenty one categories including best reggae/ragga artist which features local reggae big names like innocent nganyagwa last year's winer and Hard Mad who have tried to keep up the music's true roots.
Innocent Nganyagwa plays Tanzanian reggae blending some Tanzanian rhythms into normal known reggae beats whel as Hard Mad does real dancehall music flavoured with roots reggae and some african tunes.I n another category tittled East African musician of the year, two Ugandan dancehall artists who havve been on a tour to UK have been mantioned that is Bobby wine of Kagoma/Taata wa bana fame and MeggaDee of Nze ndeka/In heven no beer fame.
