Fantan Mojah's 'Hail The King' Goes #1

FatanMojahAlbum.jpgDownsound Recording artiste Fantan Mojah now has the number one album in Jamaica. The album, 'Hail the King' vaulted to the pole position on local charts this week.

"I am just grateful to my fans who are supporting my album in Jamaica, mi love the support," he said. "The album is also doing well overseas, in fact, a few weeks ago, the album was leading Jr. Gong, and even I-Wayne on the reggae album charts in Europe, and only Lucky Dube was ahead of me. The people are responding to me, Downsound is already into the third pressing of the album so we are registering a lot of real sales and subsequent re-orders which shows that we are quickly gaining momentum," Fantan told YardFlex.

The album was released last December, and Fantan has two tours set for Europe to promote the LP. One of those tours is a four-week trek through select European cities in early Fall, and the other is a monster 45-gig, eight-week swing through Europe during the Summer which will see the Downsound recording artiste hitting the festival circuit and club dances.

"This will be the third time that I will be going to Europe in the last 12 months, and I am looking forward to it. Right now, Fantan is all about the message, I embrace different musical genres, opening the door for all to move forward," the artiste said.
