Macka Diamond - 'Money' Birthday Bash

Top flight female deejay Macka Diamond will be celebrating her birthday with a grand bash on Saturday, January 28 at the Mass Camp Village on Oxford Road in New Kingston.

Ray Alexander of Khool Booking Agency, coordinator of the event promises a night of musical fun with Macka Diamond and friends.

A top class list of reggae and dancehall entertainers are billed for this event, such as, Capleton, Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Turbulance, Black-er, Phanton Mojah, Alozade, Kip Rich, Mr. Vegas, Captain Barkey & Wickerman, Gyptian, Lady Saw, Lady G, Ms Ting, Action K, Queen Paula, Sasha and Denise Belfon from Trinidad.

Also billed for performance are D'Angel, Bascom X, Voicemail, Flippa Mafia, Nanko, Prestige, Marva G, Delicious and Sophia & the Togetherness Crew.

The event will be hosted by witty artiste/comedian Beekie Bailey. Music will be provided by DJ Sunshine, Stone Love, Tony Matterhorn, Epidemik, Foota Hype, CD Master and Cash Flow one of Jamaica's high riding sound system.

Last year's inaugural event was held at Backyard on Constant Spring Road and saw a capacity filled crowd. Now the promoters have decided to shift to a bigger venue.

Since her return to the local scene in 2003, Macka Diamond has given stellar performances on major stages like Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest, Sting, Teen Fest, Teen Splash, and Jamaica Spring Fest among others.

On the international stage, she has worked on New Jersey Reggae Fest, Caribbean Reggae Fest held in Miami, as well as shows in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Canada, Antigua, Suriname and others.

Her latest single titled 'Bun Him' (recorded with Black-er) has been riding high on the charts and with the video getting heavy rotation this well-loved tune, especially by females is destined for the top.

Macka Diamond created an impact with songs like 'Done Already', 'Tek Con', 'Chase Money', 'Lexxus and Benz', 'Mr. Tecki Back', 'Make That Money' and 'Boopsie'.

The talented recording and performing artiste continue to be featured on most riddims.

For Macka Diamond's Birthday Bash the major sponsor is J Wray & Nephew Rum Cream, while associate sponsors are Happy Ice, Fame FM, TVJ, Hype TV and Ish Media.

you go macka i think she has proven to the entertainment industry that an old time dj can make a comeback and be successful no matter your age. it's all about talent and what the people love. keep up the good work no producer or anyone can determine the world's mine product have to be out there tofor people to react and relate to it.

MACKA U ARE A GROWN WOMAN WITH LOTS OF FAT AVOID WEARING THOSE CLOTHES THAT EXPOSES YOUR BODY,I SAW U ON CELEBPICKS ON HYPE TV IN CLOTHES THAT COVERS U AND YOU LOOK SO GOOD.IM A FAN OF YOURS THATS WHY I CARE NO DISRESPECT. BUN HIM
