Seaga's body lies in state in Tivoli

marlon-standing-next-to-edward-seaga.jpgHundreds of people gathered at the Tivoli Gardens Community Centre in West Kingston on Monday where the body of former Prime Minister Edward Seaga was lying in state.

Students and teachers from Denham Town and Tivoli High schools were among those who turned out to pay their respects.

The casket, which was placed in an open area at the Tivoli Gardens Community Centre, was draped in the Jamaican flag and guarded by members of the security forces.

Mr. Seaga's body will again lie in state at the Denham Town Community Centre Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.
