Shaggy also thanked Sting, saying, "He made this project feel like the greatest project I've ever been involved with. It was so easy and full of love and joy."

In his Grammy acceptance speech, Shaggy expressed his gratitude and thanked his family, especially his wife Rebecca and daughter, who were both at the ceremony with him, as well as his Jamaican crew. "Thank you to all of the nominees in the reggae category," he said, and he gave a shout-out to each of their names.

Other nominated albums in the Reggae category were albums as As the World Turns by Black Uhuru, Reggae Forever by Etana, Rebellion Rises by Ziggy Marley and A Matter of Time by Protoje.

Shaggy also took to social media to say thanks.
