In addition to a ribbon cutting ceremony, the team will host the first International Music and Food Festival artist meet and greet to kick-off the back-to-school shopping season at Cool J's. The event takes place on Thursday, July 26 at 811 NW 183rd Street from 4pm to 7pm.

This year, Cool J's celebrated their 30th anniversary at the forefront of fashion, music and entertainment culture. For three decades, Cool J's has provided quality service and trendsetting styles, as well as job opportunities for the Miami Gardens community. This month, Cool J's furthers its legacy as a community-engaged business leader by opening an outlet store offering a broad variety of name brand clothing and urban sportswear at a discount rate.

Cool J's is an official ticket outlet for the International Music and Food Festival (IMFest). The festival will feature live performances by Amara La Negra, and Yohan Marley, grandson of Bob Marley, who was recently added to the artist lineup. Attendees to IMFest can expect to hear original music from Yohan Marley, as well as renditions of his grandfather's famous reggae anthems. Last year, Yohan's brother Jo Mersa Marley headlined IMFest.

Yohan Marley and other artists performing at IMFest 2018 will appear at the Cool J's Ribbon Cutting and IMFest meet and greet. Free book bags will be raffled off to the public to help prepare for back-to-school. This event is free and open to the public.

IMFest 2018 takes place on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 6pm - 12am. $10 Early Bird tickets and $50 Early Bird VIP tickets are on-sale now at, and Cool J's Outlet Store in Miami Gardens.
