St Bess farmer accused of sexually assaulting his daughters, offered bail

bail.jpgA 41 year-old St. Elizabeth farmer who is accused of sexually assauting his daughters was on Monday offered bail when he appeared before the Parish Court.

He is charged with incest, sexual touching and having sex with someone under 16 years-old.

The court heard that over ten years ago, the man sexually assaulted his first daughter, who is now 24 years-old.

She reportedly ran away from home at age 18.

The man's other daughter, who is 15 years old, has reported to the police that he has been sexually assaulting her.

The 41 year-old man was offered bail in the sum of $500,000 and warned not to have any contact with his daughters.

He is to also report twice weekly to the police, surrender his travel documents while stop orders have been placed at all ports of exit.

He is to return to court on December 4.
