According to information from the police, 43 year-old Prescott Roxbury, who is from Nassau, was detained along with a woman during an anti-narcotics operation in Commissary, Frankfield about 9 o'clock Saturday night.

Roxbury and the woman, who has been identified as 53 year-old Elaine Edwards of Morant Bay, St. Thomas, were found at a two-bedroom house.

A bag containing 14.5 pounds of ganja, valued at $60,000, was allegedly found in their possession.

They were both charged with possession of and dealing in ganja.

Roxbury and Edwards are scheduled to appear before the Clarendon Parish Court on Thursday.

In September 2015, the Royal Bahamas Police Force listed Roxbury and two other Bahamians as wanted for possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply.
