Guns bark at registration centre; people flee

crime-scene-gun.jpgState agency representatives and residents of the Clarendon community of Treadlight were sent scampering Wednesday morning as shots rang out adjacent to a property they were preparing to facilitate birth registration activities.

The event was to be hosted in the community square.

It is reported that about 9.30 a.m, a car drove up and two gunmen got out firing several shots at a man next door.

The target fell after he was hit and it is reported that the gunmen then went over him firing several more shots.
