Ronald McLaren and his wife, 47 year Shernett McLaren, were charged on the weekend by detectives of the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC).

They have been charged jointly with illegal possession of 50 rounds of ammunition. Mr. McLaren has also been charged with conspiracy to defraud and possession of identity information of NCB customers.

C-TOC detectives raided the couple's St. Andrew residence on Friday as part of a probe into the scamming of debit and credit card holders of the bank. Investigators alleged that Mr. McLaren is one of the persons leaking information on customers to scammers.

McLaren and his wife are booked to appear in court on Friday.
