Two Falmouth escaped prisoners caught

Two of four prisoners who escaped from the Falmouth Police Lock-up in Trelawny on Wednesday have been caught.

Travaun Lawson, 22, otherwise called 'Tall Man', of Rose Mount, St James turned himself in to the police in the company of his lawyer while Adrian Stewart, 39, of Dumfries, St James was recaptured during an operation in his community.

Two other escapees are on the run:

1) Mario Morrison, 24, of Bamboo district, Hanover

2) Oneil Demetrius, 31, otherwise called 'Boy Boy', of Lowe River, Wait-A-Bit, Trelawny.

They are both wanted for murder.

The police are urging them to turn themselves in and are reminding family members and residents that it is an offence to harbour a criminal.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Mario Morrison and Oneil Demetrius is being asked to contact the Falmouth Police at 954-3703, Crime Stop at 311, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
