Jamaican man shot dead in Florida

crime-scene-gun.jpgThe West Palm Beach police in Florida have taken a 32 year old man into custody in relation to the fatal shooting of a Jamaican on Monday morning.

Eric Stewart, 28, was found dead shortly after 4 o'clock outside the Caribbean Choice Restaurant and Bakery.

The police quickly detained Omari Fenton near the scene of the crime.

He has been charged with first-degree murder.

According to court records, in January, Mr. Stewart was arrested for reckless driving and fleeing to elude the police.

He was a United States citizen.
