While social media, up to press time, was not buzzing with the news, it is alleged that the crooner, has finally been given the go-ahead to travel to the States.

"I'm not sure if it's a work permit, or if it's a regular visitor's visa," a Yardflex source revealed. "But his team was working on getting his papers in order and it looks like things free up for the singer."

Another source added, "A long time dem fi leggo di man and mek him start earn. Dem punish the Cure long enough."

It was in November 1998, while driving around Montego Bay, that Jag Cure was pulled over by the police and arrested on charges of gun possession, robbery and rape. He was prosecuted before the Gun Court in April 1999, found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Jah Cure was released on July 28, 2007 and has since increased his fan base and popularity, releasing a number of smash singles and albums and has toured Europe and the Caribbean.
