Lawmen are now speculating that the seizure is directly lined to the guns for drugs trade between Jamaica and Central American countries.

The officers reportedly conducted a search of Green's home in Peggy Barry district in Grange Hill, Westmoreland about 2:20 pm on Wednesday where they found the illegal firearms and more than 100 rounds of ammunition.

The weapons found are an Intratec 9mm sub-machine gun with a magazine containing 17 rounds of ammunition and one 9mm pistol with a magazine containing eight rounds.

An additional 104 9mm rounds of ammunition were also found.

Green is scheduled to appear before the Western Regional Gun Court on Thursday, January 18 for the firearm charges.
