ishawna-photo-6.jpgFemale fans of dancehall deejay Ishawna are up in arms about the scorn that is being poured on Ishawna's oral sex song, Equal Rights. They want Miss Legendary's newly released controversial single, Equal Rights to receive the same play that sexually suggestive taboo songs by male deejays get..

Reports are that over the weekend, females at a beach party booed a selector who said the owners of the sound system didn't want the song which speaks of men performing oral activities on women played on their sound.

In the video posted by Ishawna on social media, the women yelled "we need justice," others booed while some men chatted among themselves, and others watched as the saga unfolded.

The selector later heeded. As Ishawna's voice blared from the speakers, loud cheers erupted inside the venue as some women gyrated wildly to the lyrics.

Meanwhile, fellow dancehall deejay Kip Rich has since counteracted Ishawna's Equal Rights" with "Eating Rights."

Some argued that Ishawna is being treated unfairly stating that dancehall fans and industry players were more receptive to Gage's "Throat."
