Lacklustre line-up for Trump inauguration

donald-trump-photo-1.jpgOn Friday, US President-elect Donald Trump will be officially sworn into office, taking the title President of the United States. But the day before the vows are taken, as is tradition, a celebratory concert should take place featuring a whole host of celebrity performers.

For Barack Obama's first inauguration concert - "We Are One" - the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and Beyoncé graced the stage.

However, Trump's line-up has been described as a little lacklustre by comparison, with majority of the A-List celebrities including Elton John, Jennifer Holliday and R. Kelly turning down a request to perform.

So far, the performers include The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Toby Keith and band 3 Doors Down, highlighting what the team is calling "The Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration.
