Big name artistes to represent at Reggae Sumfest's Reggae Night

tarrus-riley-photo-2.jpgReggae Sumfest's first ever Reggae Night is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 23 and the genre seems set to be well represented at the annual festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

This year, the organisers, led by new owner Josef Bogdanovich, have decided to replace their International Nights I and II with a Reggae Night.

The Sumfest website lists hit-makers Barrington Levy, Luciano, Sanchez, Tarrus Riley and Chris Martin as being among the top names to perform on Reggae Night.

Singjay Busy Signal is also in the mix, alongside Nature, D-Medz, Nicky Silk, Dann-I and Adahzeh.

Backing band will be Warrior Love.

Emcees for the event will be Barry G, Elise Kelly and Paula-Anne Porter.

Reggae Sumfest kicks off on July 17 with the Beach Party featuring Bambino, Chromatic, ZJ Sparks and DJ Crazy Neil and hosted by Fluffy Diva Miss Kitty and Curvy Diva Yanique Barrett. The Blitz - All White Edition is scheduled for Pier 1 on July 19, while the Sound Explosion Stone Love, Metro Media, Black Kat, Bass Odyssey, takes place on Thursday, July 21.
