luciano-photo-1.jpgReggae artiste Luciano has postponed his upcoming tour of the United Kingdom following the murder of his son in Half Way Tree, St Andrew, on Saturday.

Eighteen year-old, Menelik McClymont, was stabbed and killed by a group of boys from uptown and their friends from the ghetto, outside his school at the Parkington Plaza.

In a release, Luciano's management expressed regret that the tour had to be postponed but said the singer was deeply affected by the tragedy.

"Even though Luciano still, initially wanted to fulfil the obligations of doing the tour, the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of his son has really affected him and so we are forced to postpone all shows until further notice," the release stated.

Luciano however assured his fans that he would be rescheduling all dates and would eventually fulfil his contractual obligations.
