Luciano to perform at We Are Reggae

luciano-messenjah.jpgLuciano "The Messenger" will appear on the We Are Reggae stage on Saturday, February 27, at the Beach Bar, Doctors Cave Beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Luciano performs his first unplugged and up-close set in Montego Bay, fresh off his Grammy Awards nomination for Best Reggae Album at this year's Grammy Awards. Jepther McClymont born in Manchester popularly known as "The Messenger" or "Jah Messenger" has received two Grammy Awards nominations, the first in 2002 for his VP Records' album A New Day and this year's Zion Awake.

Luciano was awarded the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer on October 15, 2007 in recognition of his contribution to reggae music by the Government of Jamaica. His signature hits, It's Me Again Jah, One Way Ticket, Sweep Over My Soul, Who Could It Be as well as his firebrand of Rastafari has raised him to the position of Elder Statesman. Luciano is also the consummate performer.

This month's We Are Reggae unplugged also introduces American R&B/Soul recording artiste and entertainment attorney-at-law Priscilya Marie. She was signed to Dark Child Production Company along with her gospel group as a teenager winning the McDonald's Gospelfest. Priscilya Marie made her debut as a solo recording artiste in September 2015 with her new EP entitled #NoFilter, which is available online.

Doctor Bright, who recently released the track Pretty Jamaica will also grace the We Are Reggae stage. He has performed at Germany's SummerJam Festival and toured Scandinavia in 2009.
