bruce-jenner.jpgFormer Olympic hero, father and husband, Bruce Jenner made his debut as a transgender woman in a cover for the July issue of Vanity Fair. "Call me Caitlyn," declared a headline with his photo in a strapless corset, legs crossed, sitting on a stool.

Did someone say HORRIBLE?

Bruce Jenner's transition has played out in public over the past year and included a high-profile interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer last April, in which Jenner, appearing nervous at first, declared, "Yes, for all intents and purposes, I am a woman."

Bruce Jenner has since starred in a documentary series 'I Am Cait' and was controversially awareded the Ashe Courage Award at ESPYs, in what some claim was a swap for the Diane Sawyer interview.

Bobbi Kristina Brown dies at 22

bobbi-kristina-brown-photo-3.jpgThe only daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub on Jan. 31 in her Roswell, Ga. home by longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon. She remained in a medically induced coma until July 26, when she died in hospice care. Convinced of Gordon's wrongdoing, Brown's family banned him from attending her funeral - and then filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him in August.

Charlie Sheen reveals his HIV status

charlie-sheen.jpgIn a surreal live TV interview, Charlie Sheen revealed on "Today" that he was diagnosed with HIV four years ago. "It's a hard three letters to absorb," he told Matt Lauer, calling the diagnosis a "mule kick" to his soul.

Bill Cosby rape allegations

While much of the public already believed the accounts of the dozens of women who came forward with sexual assault allegations against the comedian, Cosby's defense of himself became even weaker in July 2015. At that time, the Associated Press released a report in which Cosby admits to giving Quaaludes to women he wanted to have sex with.

Josh Duggar molestation charges

The eldest of the Duggar family, Josh was forced to comment after documents were made public detailing the reality star's history of molesting young women. The revelation prompted TLC to suspend 19 Kids and Counting and pull all reruns from rotation.

Lamar Odom survives a near-fatal Nevada brothel bender

lamar-odom.jpgThirty-five-year-old Lamar Odom was hospitalized after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada, about 70 miles outside of Las Vegas.

In the weeks after, the ailing former Laker battled a three-day-long coma, brain damage and reportedly also pneumonia, kidney damage and a series of strokes. He's currently undergoing intensive therapy at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, relearning how to walk, talk and feed himself.

Reality TV personality Khloe Kardashian and Odom were married in 2009, but Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.

Ariana Grande donut-licking session


The "Problem" singer got herself into quite the sticky situation in July 2015, when security footage from a bakery in California surfaced. The video showed Grande and a male pal surreptitiously licking donuts meant for customers and muttering "I hate America." She released multiple apologies after the fact and dodged criminal charges for the incident.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announce their divorce
