This time Myrie scored big at the annual Miss World Charity Gala Event as the items she brought to be auctioned were among the highest bids for the night.

Myrie's items which included Usain Bolt autographed trainers, one-of-a-kind artworks and cultural emblems raked in Y50,000 ($6500 USD) and tied as the highest bid of the night. Just over Y260,000 (over $40,000) was raised through the auction as well raffle and ticket sales on the night.

One of the annual traditions of the Miss World Pageant is the Charity Gala Event, where all Miss World contestants bring with them a special gift, be it a personalized painting or a valuable token from their country, and auction it for a good cause.

All proceeds of the Charity Gala will go to benefiting the Sanya Orphanage founded by Miss World Chairwoman, Julia Morley, in 2005.

According to the Miss World Pageant's official website, the Orphanage houses and nurtures over 60 orphaned youth.
