The award-winning Ruff Kut is the official backing band and Stone Love will provide intense juggling.

Producers of Mawch Out are Gangstarr Promotions, which comprises four brothers who all hail from St. Ann. Emphasising that their intention is to build Mawch Out into a world renowned one-day reggae festival, Gangstarr Promotions, was full of praise for their sponsors, who they hope will be with them for the next decade.

"Liquid Nitro came on board with us as soon as we reached out to them; it was the same with all the others who are supporting this venture. We salute the St Ann-based sponsors which include Jewel Paradise Cove Beach Resort and Spa in Runaway Bay, Dolphin's Cove, Eyeland Eyewear and Irie FM, all of whom have been extremely accommodating. OnStage has been spreading the word to their viewers and already we are benefitting from this; and with the full strngth of Rum Bar Rum we can't go wrong," said Grizzly Wilson, one of the four brothers involved in staging the event.

He added, "We have a very professional team spearheading this project and we are confident that Mawch Out 2015 will be bigger abnd better than our inaugural staging last year, which saw over 3,000 patrons turning up to support the event."

According to Wilson, Ky-mani - the second youngest son of Bob Marley - is thrilled at performing at home in Jamaica. Now promoting his recently released, critically acclaimed sixth studio album, Maestro, Ky-mani is in the island and has already started a soft promotion of the CD, which the Wall Street Journal says "balances a roots-reggae feel with latter-day touches, mixing deep dub rhythms and elements drawn from hip-hop and R&B..."

He noted that Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Sizzla all performed last year and are pleased to be back on the line-up this year. Reggae singer Coco Tea, he noted, "is incomparable" and the younger acts, such as Devin Di Dakta an Innovata have budding fan bases which are really appreciate their undeniable talent.

"Rehearsals are going well ... we are putting everything in its right place and we just want patrons to come out and enjoy a great show at a comfortable, secure venue. Just Mawch Out to Ocho Rios on Saturday and support this event which will definitely be staying right here in St Ann," Wilson said.
