Flippa Mafia's trial could start next week

flippa-mafia.jpgIt is reported that the narcotics trial for deejay Flippa Mafa, also known as Flippa Mogglea, could start as early as next week. the trial for Andrew Davis, more popularly known as Flippa Mafia, may begin as early as next week.

Flippa, who up to Thursday had not taken a plea deal, is scheduled to appear in the Camden County Superior Court in New Jersey. Prominent Attorney and Professor David Rowe reportedly told a popular muisc programme that Flippa and his attorney did not apply for a continuance.A continuance is a formal request to the judge to delay the case for more time to prepare the defendant's case.

Flippa's brothers, however, accepted plea deals from the US government to narcotics Charges. The two pleaded guilty to first-degree possession, with intent to distribute cocaine and leading a narcotics trafficking network.

The state is recommending that Kemar and Roger Davis be sentenced to 20 years and 10 years respectively.

Flippa Mafia's pending charges include a first-degree charge of leading a narcotics trafficking network, which carries a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
