Reggae Sumfest headliner Rick Ross gets bail

rick-ross-bail.jpgReggae Sumfest headliner Rick Ross has been released after spending 7 days in jail.

The American rapper, who is expected to perform on Night 1 at the greatest reggae show on earth on July 17, was released once he paid a $2 million bond at a hearing in Fayette County, GA.

Rick Ross was arrested last Wednesday for kidnapping and aggravated assault.

According to reports, the victim claims the rapper pistol-whipped him, injuring his jaw and neck and chipping two teeth, and that the injuries were so bad, he's been forced to go on a liquid diet.

The 2015 staging of Reggae Sumfest will be held on July 12 - 18 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
